El Alisal is a farm that has been in the hands of the Jaramillo family for several generations. Over the years, they have kept the tradition of coffee cultivation alive, combining it with other crops such as cassava, plantains, corn, and fruit trees. Always striving for excellence and open to innovation, they have incorporated varieties such as Typica Mejorado, Sidra, Geisha, and Batian. The latter, originally from Kenya, is the result of a cross between SL28, SL34, Sudan Rume, N39, K7, SL4, and the Timor Hybrid.
